"The true spirit of Shotokan Karate"

Dave Gaish 4th Dan originaly founded the club at Beddington village hall in 1984 under Ray Fuller's guidance and support . Later and as Chief instructor he renamed the club Shin No Sei Shin Shotokan Karate, meaning “The true spirit of Shotokan Karate”.

In keeping with the name, his aim was to teach as much of the technical expertise and Karate spirit as he could. Hundreds of karata have benefited from his skilled training and although Sensei Dave Gaish has since retired, the Club still maintains this traditional approach under the leadership of Colin Groome.
